Monrovia looks for a teacher.

The American International School of Monrovia (AISM) is hiring a Social Studies/Art teacher (grades 4-8) to start immediately. Presently, the school has grown to 70 students from countries as diverse as Lebanon, India, the United States, Sweden and Liberia. Very low student-to-teacher ratio (20:1 or less); wonderful, hard-working, fun-loving faculty and staff; strong support from the US Embassy. Benefits: paid furnished housing, RT airfare to/from the United States, health insurance, internet, 24/7 electricity, US and Liberian holidays observed (3 weeks "winter" vacation plus additional vacation days). Qualifications: BA, currently licensed to teach in the United States or other English-speaking country; fluent in English; prior teaching experience preferred, experience living/working overseas highly desirable. Vortrag zum Internationalen Frauentag
"Islam und Frauenemanzipation - Passt das zusammen?" Diese Frage steht im Mittelpunkt des Vortrags, zu dem der Verein Frauencafé Ludwigshafen e.V. am Mittwoch, 9. März 2011, aus Anlass des 100jährigen Bestehens des Internationalen Frauentags einlädt. Die Veranstaltung findet im Internationalen Frauentreff in der Westendstraße 17 statt und beginnt um 18 Uhr.
