Hi all,

The American International School of Monrovia (AISM) is hiring a Social Studies/Art teacher (grades 4-8) to start immediately. Presently, the school has grown to 70 students from countries as diverse as Lebanon, India, the United States, Sweden and Liberia. Very low student-to-teacher ratio (20:1 or less); wonderful, hard-working, fun-loving faculty and staff; strong support from the US Embassy.

Benefits: paid furnished housing, RT airfare to/from the United States, health insurance, internet, 24/7 electricity, US and Liberian holidays observed (3 weeks "winter" vacation plus additional vacation days).

Qualifications: BA, currently licensed to teach in the United States or other English-speaking country; fluent in English; prior teaching experience preferred, experience living/working overseas highly desirable.
